Róisín Murphy is an Irish singer, songwriter and record producer. She first became known in the 1990s as one half of the pop duo Moloko alongside English musician Mark Brydon.

A collection of Singles, B-sides & Rarities from Hurricane #1

Notes: 

Hurricane #1 are an English rock band, formed in Oxford in 1996. The band were formed by former Ride guitarist Andy Bell, along with vocalist/guitarist Alex Lowe, bassist Will Pepper and drummer Gareth "Gaz" Farmer. After releasing two albums, Hurricane #1 (1997) and Only the Strongest Will Survive (1999), the band broke-up. Bell went to join Gay Dad and then eventually Oasis, while Lowe ventured into a solo career. Fronted by Lowe, the band reformed in 2014 and released their third album, Find What You Love and Let It Kill You, in November 2015.

This collection is tracks taken from singles released between 1997 to 1999 and some rarities taken from the 2004 compilation album "Step into My World". This isn't a definitive collection as there are a few b-sides missing but this is everything I have.

Longpigs were a British alternative rock band who rose to fame on the fringe of Britpop in the 1990s, comprising Crispin Hunt (vocals), Richard Hawley (guitar), Simon Stafford (bass guitar) and former Cabaret Voltaire member Dee Boyle (drums) who was replaced by Andy Cook (drums) on their second album. Hailing from Sheffield, the group had success with singles such as "She Said", "On and On", and their well-received debut album The Sun Is Often Out (1996). source

Notes:
Whenever discusing underrated 90s bands it usually won't belong until someone metions the Longpigs. A friend recommended them to me over a decade ago, up until that point I had never heard of them before which surprised me as they sounded exactly like the kind of band I would have been into during the mid to late 90s (if I wasn't busy listening to Oasis on an almost constant loop that is).
As the years have gone by I've come to like Longpigs more and more but it's putting this mix tape together I've really begun to appreciate what a great collection of songs are in their back catalogue.
It's a real shame that there has been an official "Complete Collection" or singles boxset released in the 20 years since the band split as that would be a must buy for me. In 2013 saw the release of "On And On: The Anthology" by 3 Loop Music but it seems to have been done with no involvement with any member of the band. So I've put this mix tape together of singles, b-sides and rarities. This isn't a definitive collection as there are a few b-sides missing but this is everything I have.

Dexys Midnight Runners: The Projected Passion Revue

The Projected Passion Revue is a compilation album by the group Dexys Midnight Runners, comprising recordings made in 1981, between the group's first album Searching for the Young Soul Rebels and its second, Too-Rye-Ay. The album represents a stage in the group's development which built upon the blue-eyed soul sound of the original line-up, but came before the group's adoption of a significant folk influence (and the addition of The Emerald Express to the line-up).

Notes:
The title track was a download only single released on 27 March, 2011 to support victims of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami in Japan but is now no longer available. It later appeared as a bonus track on the Japanese release of Generation Freakshow. Tracks 3, 4 and 6 are taken from their individual singles to avoid the brickwalling that occurs on the album The Singles. This album also contains 4 out of the 6 tracks that appear on the Japanese-only-release Seven Sleepers EP.
